Suede Skirt

I have always been a lover of suede but I don't actually own many pieces. My awesome Dad found me this vintage suede two piece (see below for matching jacket) and it is absolutely beautiful! I decided to pair the skirt with my leather cropped jacket as I am a big fan of mixing textures.

Unfortunately the set is too big for me (boo!) so I have decided to let it go to a new (and hopefully loving) home. I am selling the set on ebay. Click here to take a peek.

Glastonbury 2014!

Last week I attended the famous and wonderful Glastonbury Festival. It was my 3rd time and I have to say, it's been my favourite so far. I seriously had the best time ever despite spending 2 out of 6 days of drowning in mud and rain.

Nicole and I arrived on Wednesday at around 2:30pm. It was actually very warm and sunny, and the feeling of setting up camp and being able to relax and enjoy the festival was like no other. The music doesn't start until Friday so Wednesday and Thursday are spent exploring what the festival has to offer besides music. If you've never been to Glastonbury Festival, let me tell you, it is like no other festival. There is SO much to see besides music - from the weird and wonderful circus acts, to the calm and serene healing fields, to the heaven and hell clubs at shangri-la. There is something for everyone, and even staying at the festival from Wednesday to Monday wasn't enough time to see everything. It is quite possibly one of my favourite places on earth.

With regards to music, there were so many bands I wanted to see, but unfortunately as I cannot be in two places at once (maybe in the year 3000?) I had to pick and choose. Friday's highlights were the great Arcade Fire, as well as Temples, The War on Drugs and Jurassic 5 (whom we watched at sunset, it was perfect!). Saturday brought a variety of amazing acts - a personal highlight for me was seeing Lana Del Rey -  I actually shed tears! Also Pixies, Jack White and Metallica all put on great shows. Sunday was an amazing end to the festival - Brian Jonestown Massacre and Kasabian both put on blinding performances!

All in all I had an amazing weekend...So here are a few snaps from my time at Glastonbury. Enjoy! xxx
