Red or Dead Event

Last week I was invited to Red or Dead HQ to take a peek at their AW14 collection whilst eating cupcakes and sipping on slushies. I know right? Perfect. We were picked up in a big red vintage bus and handed gin & tonics - talk about travelling in style!

When we arrived we were greeted with culinary delights such as mini burgers (obviously), bite sized hot dogs and mac'n'cheese! We sat outside in the sun filling our tummies (and hearts) before heading inside to look at the collection and hear about the brand. Creative director Katie Greenyer told us lots of interesting facts about the history of the brand - including how she ended up with Red or Dead. Talk about inspiration! We also heard from senior designer Anna Ward, who gave us an insight into their design process and what goes on behind the scenes. It was both educational and impressive!

The collection was fantastic but my heart was drawn to the monochrome two pieces. So perfect to mix and match!

All in all it was a fantastic evening and a wonderful time was had by all. I hope they invite me back again soon!

Suede Skirt

I have always been a lover of suede but I don't actually own many pieces. My awesome Dad found me this vintage suede two piece (see below for matching jacket) and it is absolutely beautiful! I decided to pair the skirt with my leather cropped jacket as I am a big fan of mixing textures.

Unfortunately the set is too big for me (boo!) so I have decided to let it go to a new (and hopefully loving) home. I am selling the set on ebay. Click here to take a peek.
